Made from dyed or undyed alpaca fibre, these socks will have been made by professional British sock makers, and should be available in foot sizes 4-7 and 8-11. Those shown in the picture were made in five natural colour ways (left to right in the picture): Bitter Chocolate (almost black); rich Chestnut; soft Caramel; warm Biscuit; and silky cream. Socks will usually be mixed with 45% Nylon for increased durability. Alpaca socks are naturally antibacterial and can usually be gently machine washed on a low temperature wool cycle. You could wear these incredibly soft socks for a week without washing them, although we wouldn't recommend it! Perfect for skiiing or country walking where you want a warm but light weight sock. Peruvian Style hats will have been made by professional machine knitters, and should be available in sizes to fit children, teenagers and adults. Coming in various patterns the hats are naturally antibacterial and can be gently hand washed and dried flat. You could wear these hats for years without washing them, although we wouldn't recommend it! Scarfs are available in a wide range of styles. The ones shown here are naturally rolling versions, but they can also be made in lacey designs and should be available in different lengths and weights (the black scarf shown is heavyweight, whilst the cream one is light weight). The scarves will be naturally antibacterial and can be gently hand washed and dried flat. You could wear these scarves for years without washing them, although we wouldn't recommend it! Buy or make one of these and your dog will love you forever. Beautifully soft, light weight and fluffy these beds will have them in the Land of Knod in no time. Particularly good for older dogs that spend a lot of time in their beds. We suggest for medium to large dogs a generous 65cm x 65cm size is suitable. You will want to make sure it has a fully machine washable zipped outer cover and an inner cushion sleeve so that there is no need for them to get scruffy looking. The beds sgould be filled with the washed undyed alpaca fibre which is naturally antibacterial. Go on, show your dog you love them! If you or your friends really love birds, why not buy an alpaca bird nest material kit like this. Complete with a green spiral hanger and a generous quantity of mixed coulour alpaca fibre they'll have everything they need to help keep their feathered friends warm and cosy. Simply fill the hanger with the fibre and hang up on your bird table, bush or a convenient tree. When all the fibre is gone you refill the hanger with alpaca fibre or use the hanger to hold fat balls or moss. Summer Weight Ladies Pasha
This is an example of a luxurious Pasha we made exclusively from Pizarro’s prime fleece. Equivalent to Cashmere it was made into a fine 100% alpaca yarn and woven with beautiful Italian silk to give a light, warm and soft to the touch garment that can be worn next to the skin. Designed to be worn in the summer, this was the lightest weight Pasha we made. It was so light you hardly knew you were wearing it, but the warmth it provided on a cool summer evening was greatly appreciated. It was a semi-transparent pattern that was exclusive to grabbedbythealpacas and provided added interest, allowing the colour of what was being worn underneath to show through, each garment enhancing the other. Hypoallergenic this Pasha could be worn by people who can't normally wear wool. Naturally black this Pasha did not fade like dyed garments.
Only twelve of these Pashas were made and each one was part of an individually numbered limited edition, making it highly desirable and very exclusive. Measuring approx 67 x 18 inches including the fringes this Pasha made the perfect gift for a special friend.

Making Service
If you have your own yarn or fibre from your alpacas we know of people who can offer you an affordable, professional machine knitting and making service. They can make everything from gloves, scarves, hats, sweaters, knitted coats throws etc, all in lots of different designs. If you have an idea of something you'd like made, chances are they can design and make it for you. Their making prices start from just £4.00 plus P&P for a rolled edge scarf and £35 for an adult plain crew neck jumper (using your yarn).
